Gretchen came to me in June 25, 2009 as a foster placement.   She was found by a man walking his dogs and had been hit by a car.   Gretchen is a delightful muted tortie who is very affectionate.  Although her “would be” family made semi regular contacts for the first year, they have not expressed any interest in her for over a year.   Gretchen deserves a family of her own and as a result, she is on the adoption list.

Although she seems very healthy, Gretchen does have a problem with constipation from time to time.   She was incontinent for approximately six months after being hit.  She is no longer incontinent but she frequently visits the litter box and does not always produce a bowel movement.

  • 4 year old spayed domestic short haired female
  • Muted tortie
  • FIV and FELEUK negative
  • vaccinated
  • very affectionate; extrovert
  • great with other cats, untested with kids or dogs
  • behavioral or medical concerns – as a result of accident, she sometimes has issues with regular bowel movements.  She was incontinent at first; that disappeared once her body fully healed.  She now has issues from time to time with constipation.   A tablespoon of pure pumpkin added into her food resolves the problem.
